The Canonical Ecclesiastical Jurisdictions

The General Assembly

of

The Spiritual Baptist Church of Canada

The General Assembly 2022 amended the Canons of this Church to better define the Ecclesiastical Jurisdictions of this Church for the purposes of forming Unit Churches, Dioceses, and Archdioceses that are in union with the General Assembly and afforded all rights and privileges as prescribed in the Constitution and Canons.

The Ecclesiastical Office of the Apostolic Overseer has developed a strategy to establish Archdiocesan Offices in each Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction before December 31, 2029. These Archdiocesan Offices, by Apostolic Mandate, are required to establish Unit Churches or Area Missions in each authorized Diocese of their respective Archdiocese that shall include among other ministries, community outreach services, for the betterment of the community and advancement of the Church through The Pillar of Truth Outreach Ministries and the Community Chapters of The Order of the Faithful Women.

The geographical boundaries ascribed to the Ecclesiastical Jurisdictions shall be published on the future websites associated with the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. Links will be provided here.

The First Archdiocese

The First Archdiocese

The First Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Ontario and is first among all other Ecclesiastical Jurisdictions as it forms as significant part of the Apostolic See. There are five Dioceses in the First Archdiocese, namely:

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Toronto, The Apostolic See

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of London

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Ottawa

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Oshawa

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Thunder Bay

The Second Archdiocese

The Second Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Quebec. There are five Dioceses in the Second Archdiocese, namely:

 

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Montreal

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Quebec City

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Gatineau

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Saguenay

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Trois-Rivieres

The Third Archdiocese

The Third Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of British Columbia. There are five Dioceses in the Third Archdiocese, namely:

 

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Winnipeg

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Calgary

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Regina

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Vancouver

The Fourth Archdiocese

The Fourth Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Nova Scotia. There are five Dioceses in the Fourth Archdiocese, namely:

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Fredericton

  • The Spiritual Baptist Church Diocese of Charlottetown

The Fifth Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Trinidad & Tobago. There are initially five Dioceses in the Fifth Archdiocese, namely:​

The Seventh Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Georgia. There are initially five Dioceses in the Seventh Archdiocese, namely:

The Ninth Archdiocese is officially known as The Spiritual Baptist Church Archdiocese of Texas. There are initially five Dioceses in the Ninth Archdiocese, namely:
