The General Assembly
The Executive Committee of the General Assembly is composed of the following members, each with a seat, voice, and vote:
The Chair & President
The Apostolic Overseer is ex-officio the Chair and President of the Executive Committee.
The Vice-Chair
The President of the Congress of Delegates is ex-officio the Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee.
The Vice-President
The Vice-President of the Executive Committee is elected by the Executive Committee upon nomination by the Chair.
The Secretary
The Secretary of the Congress of Delegates is ex-officio Secretary of the Executive Committee.
The Treasurer
The Treasurer of the Executive Committee is elected by the Executive Committee upon nomination by the Chair.
Archdiocesan Church Councils Representatives
There shall be eight members of Executive Committee appointed by the Archdiocesan Church Councils, where such appointments occur in designated rotation to serve six-year terms. The appointed members of the Archdiocesan Church Councils are staggered with four members, one member from each Archdiocesan Church Council, appointed at each Joint Session. The rotation of appointments is predetermined by the Apostolic Realm.
Archdiocese Elected Representatives
Each Archdiocese is permitted to be represented by one Bishop, Reverend, or Deacon, and one Lay Person for one-term.
General Assembly Elected Representatives
There are six members elected by the Joint Session of the General Assembly to serve a six-year term: of whom two shall be Bishops elected by the Convocation of Bishops and confirmed by the Congress of Delegates; two shall be Reverends or Deacons elected by the Congress of Delegates and confirmed by the Convocation of Bishops; and two shall be Lay Persons elected by both Branches. (One Bishop, One Reverend, and One Lay Person is elected at subsequent regular meeting of the General Assembly.
Youth Representative
A member of the Church between the age of 16 and 24 years shall have a seat, voice, and vote on the Executive Committee. The Youth Representative is elected by both Branches at the regular Joint Session of the General Assembly for a single term or approximately three-years.
