The Standing Commissions

The General Assembly
The Standing Commissions authorized under Canonical Law are permanent commissions designated to address important matters of the General Assembly during meetings.
The composition of Standing Commissions are detailed in Canonical Law where the Bishop is appointed by the Convocation of Bishops and approved by the Congress of Delegates, and the other members are appointed from the Order of Clergy (except Bishops) and the Order of Laity by the Congress of Delegates and confirmed by the Convocation of Bishops.
